I can understand why some BASICs would only evaluate the initial and step 
values once, but evaluating the final value each time through is to me 
absolutely necessary! I want to be able to

FOR i% = 1 TO 10
  ..do something
  IF x% THEN i% = 10
NEXT i%

to "bail out" of the loop if some condition "x%" is met!
