As one of the "lurkers"----to use Jonathon's appropriate term--- I believe
native PPC to be important but far from a critical addition to FB.  My own
experience with 68K emulation is similar to some other folks here; It is
too fast,  and often reduce event polling to slow the app down. None of my
users have EVER complained about lack of speed. If they sent me a note and
said "why isn't your code PPC native", I would assume it was from a
programmer giving me grief. I am very interested in the other improvements
that FB^3 will bring. Staz (and  many other long-time FBers like Ross et.
al) has always kept his promises so I expect nothing less with FB^3.
Clearly, Staz and Andy are busy trying to keep up with all the changes and
additions that Apple has rolled out in the last 9 months. Maybe Staz will
give us status on the beta soon.
