I got 19 inch KDS monitor recently, and it is still in the returnable to store time period as regards this posting,it was only $399 new. The problem is that there is an area towards bottom left that is a little bluish on a white background (say a diagonal oval area a few inches in area). Is this normal on a big monitor to have some kind of color anomaly, or is it that this monitor is defective, or just that I am too picky? Wonder if I take it back if the one I get then will be worse in like sharpness or something. :) Probably should have spent the extra $400 and got a Sony! ;) There are a lot of those magnetic field lines visible too when viewing solid colors, but I am not sure that isn't due to the refresh rate. I also notice that I can't seem to get the whites anywhere near as white as the white background of the onscreen display. Would be interested in others' experiences or monitor recommendations in the 19 inch and over sizes. I do a lot of graphic work. Running an IXMicro Ultimate Rez card if that matters. Thanks, Robert Covington
