I am just about to release information on a commercially-available Radar Control Training System for Air Forces and Air Traffic Controllers world-wide. It is 100% written in FB2. I would be interested if there is anyone out there who would be interested in doing a bit of Beta testing. There will be no fee, but you will have a bit of fun with the product. There are a few conditions : 1. You MUST have a PowerMac. It must be AT LEAST as have a 604 / 604e at AT LEAST 166 Mhz. Any G3 and iMac is fine. In fact, I would especially like iMac feedback. 2. You monitor must AT LEAST be 17" (iMac excepted), and should AT LEAST go to 1024 x 768. 3. You MUST have Macintalk II / Pro loaded. 4. Ideally, you should have a second monitor capable of 640 x 480, but this is not essential. 5. Ideally, you should have a little knowledge about Radar, Aircraft, and / or Air Traffic Control and Air Defence. In fact, the major market is Air Defence. 6. You will need Acrobat for the user manual. 7. The product will be available for Test in late February, and you will need to download it under (individual and controlled) password control from a dedicated Web site. The product is more or less complete, as it's been developed from a well tried and tested ZB product which is use with many Air Forces. I'm more interested in how in runs on a variety of Macs. The Beta Version will be time-lifed, probably for 30 days. If you are interested, please EMail me privately on : yates_p@... If you do, please let me know : Your Mac configuration Any relevant experience. Your Location in the world. The more distant you are from the UK, the happier I'll be. And if your Mac doesn't run in English, better still. Many Thanks in advance, Phil Yates.
