Mike,
   I agree with your last sentence.  But wouldn't you say that Satan is 
more limited now since the coming of Christ.  The world was once in 
darkness but now the Light has come.  Being bound does not necessarily 
mean he can't do anything - he is just running scared and he (Satan) 
certainly can't hurt the Church or God's elect (at least with eternal 
implications).
