Jerry,

I think there is something to being a male beyond the physical organs.  God 
has created the essence of a male to be different than a female.  A careful 
study of Gen. 2, 3  and Eph. 5 will bear this out, as well as other 
scriptures.  God created males to move into their world with purpose and 
impact, serving as a leader in humble strength, and being responsible for 
his family.  If someone has been so wounded in his masculinity, or feels so 
lacking in it, that he desires to be a woman, it is not that God made a 
mistake with his organs.  It is probably that he is longing for male 
acceptance and to experience masculinity in an ungodly way.
