We pour out our alcoholic "drink offerings" on them. :-) Actually, I spent 13 years in the Assemblies of God before becoming SBC. The AoG had the custom of referring to the railing at the front of the church as the "altar." I guess the "proper" SBC term is "invitation" and not "altar call."
