What happens if you sit a dead man at a table prepared with delicious
food?  Will he reach out his lifeless hand on his own and partake of
the dinner?

Of course not.  Now, what happens if Christ gives life to the dead man
and say "Come and eat."  Would it even be possible for him to disobey
the voice that gave him life?

Mike, are we dead without Christ or just hungry?

Yesterday we were just sick.  Now we're just hungry.  We keep better
and better.  Pretty soon we won't need Christ at all.
