Whatever the belief about the timing of the rapture,
Christ was calling someone out of this city to be 
saved from His judgment.  I don't think He will
save non-christians from any of His wrath.  Evidently
you do.  

Rev. 18:4 
    And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, 
Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers 
of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
