Derick and others, Obviously I have a unique perspective on this seeing as I was UPC. I was not saved while UPC but became a Christian in an Independent Baptist Church. CAN a Oneness UPC be saved? Sure, I know some in my own family who are UPC and I consider them saved as they TELL me they have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Do I believe their theology is wrong? YES. If you look at one of the tenets of what makes a cult a cult, it is denying the Trinity. Do I believe that you have to be baptized in the Name of Jesus or you're not saved? NO! Do I believe that you have to speak in tongues as evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit or you're not saved? NO! Do I believe that Jesus was not the divinity until His baptism? NO! Do I believe that His divinity left Him on the Cross? NO! All of these things I personally have heard UPC teach and preach. Heresy? Those you must answer in light of scripture. Aubrey 1.
