For my part, ... I was on the road for 11 hours straight with no access to 
Email.

I did get to hear "my favorite Calvinist,"  Harold Camping, on his Family 
Radio program "Open Forum" last night as I drove through Charleston, SC.

It is amazing to me how Mr Camping re-interprets everything in the Bible, 
even historical events, and says, "We must find the 'spiritual meaning' in 
this passage."  He seems to teach that everything in the Bible is a 
"parable," and has a "spiritual meaning" that is not obvious to the casual 
reader.

It is still shocking to me that he asserts that God, the Holy Spirit, and 
Christ have departed from the Church and now Satan rules in the Church and 
so everybody must leave the Church and must not gather together in any house 
of worship.  ..... Oh, and he predicts the end of the tribulation time to be 
in 2011.

I wonder how that differs from the New Age predictions of some major 
worldwide occurrence in 2012 ....

I was surprised when Mr Camping had a good answer to a question about "soul 
sleep."
