Reread the end of the article.  Seems like the biggest problems the guy
has is, "If we believe this, we are headed back to Rome..."  Ah, no.
And his conclusion: "So, is faith a necessary gift to receive salvation?
Clearly, the answer is no."

Well, by God,...no wait, by yourself, then you just go earn it on your own.
