To all who read.... I apologize if it appears that I made an attack of the bro. Bro Jeff, I apologize because "attacking you" was not in my spirit. Having seen the movie twice, I know that there are some things which (in my opinion) have Biblical difficulties. Yet from my perspective, there is a great deal MORE good than bad which is given. Some one asked me did I think it too violent...my response was, "depends on your perspective. If you're talking about the violence being overdone compared to the actual crucifixion--my answer is a resounding no as I believe the treatment and beating of Jesus was much worse than portrayed. But if you are asking if this was more than I cared to see---the answer is "absolutely"." My belief is that most believers had become so comfortable with the "Jesus died for me on a tree" that we had become numb to the truth. If nothing else, this screenplay awakened us to the horror of the crucifixion. Jeff---though you don't know me---I would like to say this, "my heart was not focused on attacking you but rather on talking about the movie"...Please accept my apologies. Jerry N.
