I have a question: What is "worldliness"? (consider the definition of
the word when contrasted with the definition of world in, for example
Jn. 3:16).
Easy brethren - think before you respond!
I have a sermon called "what in the world is worldliness" I will be
glad to share but not until we see some responses.
Please do respond. I think this should be a good one, but I ask that
the responses be both Biblical and thoughtful (in that order). I am
afraid our ignorance on this subject is one of the things that have made
us not peculiar but "stinky" to the world. Sometimes we have
"super-sensitive" attitude.
I look forward to some good discussion.

Subject: [PastorsForum] worldliness in the churches

As long as people are getting saved bro. Jeff, how can you be against
it? If God is blessing it and folks are coming to a religious experience
and rejoicing in the Lord, well, is that not good? Does it really
matter how it happens if everybody is having a good time?
Just kidding!!!! but that seems to be the same criteria used for other
methods. Does it not?
David
Preachers for years have been saying that the churches are just years
behind the world.
Now we say the world has arrived in many churches today.
Praise the LORD there are some that have not sold out to the world,
flesh and the devil.
