Bro. Jerry,
"Edition" is not the same as the original "version" or "translation" so I
think it would be legit to call a reprinting and such, the same date as the
original.
I did like your statement about "defeating the darkness instead of debating
the light."  But caution and discernment must also be exercised here.  Not
all that claims to be light, is.  (2 Cor. 11:14)

Okay...I have not posted on this subject....My "Doctors" certificate
(from Seminary) has on it "KJV 1611" and all my professor "hammered"
this principle as "theology"---yet everytime they read the scripture it
was the 1906-8 edition...

Here's my question: Do we believe at the rapture that it will matter to
our Lord (who gave His precious blood) which translation we read to
"find forgiveness through the blood"?? The only "Inspired" writings are
the original autographs...I wish we could spend more time defeating the
darkness instead of debating the light....(that's my two sense
worth---<GRIN>)
