Thanks for your kind words.  I'm not sure, but I think it was Brother
Jack Peters who started PastorForum.  I have been so blessed by his
sermon outlines and messages.  I believe it was his intention to share
with pastors his knowledge for edification.  I have also appreciated
others of the pastors who have shared messages or words of exhortation.

What bothers me is that some of the controversial topics posted on this
forum are not really benefitting anyone in my view.  I feel that the
views only tend to cement convictions (right or wrong), and it appears at
times to offend some of the men.  We are to edify, not offend.  I don't
wish to offend anyone, nor do I feel that others do so intentionally, but
it happens, and that is a tragedy.  Remember what the Word says: 

             "He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his
neighbor cometh and searcheth him.
                  The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth
between the mighty.
                  A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong
city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle." Proverbs
18:17-19.

A brother won is a blessing indeed, and a treasure to be valued.
