Bro. Jim, my answer was based on the assumption of the very basic functions
needed for a church to operate. Not on filling positions with warm bodies.
In no manner should a woman be a preacher of any sort. One instant of a
woman serving where a man should is in the position of Song Leader, the
very nature of the first post on this subject. I also, say there is a
difference in being a male and being a Man. A man steps up to the role and
position God gives him.

I have some trouble with "if there are no men, a woman has to do..." If
it's wrong for the woman to have the position in God's eyes then how could
you ask Him to bless that? If it's not wrong according to God's Word,
then
you'd better not be hindering a servant of God just because she is a woman.
What about ... if there are no men to fill the position, we won't have the
position until we do have a qualified person?
