Bro. Les, I believe God can use women in the areas whereof you speak.  A 
good example would be Lydia.  But to be honest, I do not believe women can 
be pastors and speaking evangelist to mixed groups.. Some one used a good 
example in another post. They said, " The Apostle Paul never addressed any 
correspondence to women pastors."  In fact he was adamant about women not 
speaking in the assembly.   I believe God uses and has used women in many 
areas of His work and still does today.  I do not want to make light of the 
contribution of women in the bible and in the Church today, because they 
have been more faithful to His work than men, yet, we must adhere to God's 
structure and method for ministry in and through the Church.
