Dear Praying Saints,
 
I have some relatively good news and then a specific prayer request. 
 
Gina has been getting a little stronger lately, and she said she think she is strong enough to have my wife (Carla) come and stay with her.  This will allow Kim and Fred to go out together, something they haven't been able to do for a long time.  So Carla will be going over on Monday to stay with Gina.  Pray that the day goes well.
 
Also, since Gina has been feeling stronger, she has been taking walks lately -- a good diversion for her, as well as good therapy being out in the sunlight and fresh air for a change.  This diversion, however, will have to be curbed or at least she will not be able to go out alone for the following reason.  This brings up the prayer request.
 
Fred wrote me the following: "Over the past few days a man has been suspiciously "patroling" our neighborhood in his car. A couple of men on my street tried to talk to him the other day, and he bolted. They got his license, called the cops. Turns out he's a jail bird who is now out after serving some time for child molestation -- raping a teenage girl. He's listed on the Megan's list on the web.
 
When we told Gina about it the other night, she said that she had seen him. Said that while she was out on a walk in the neighborhood he drove past her 5 times back and forth. Seemed to be stalking her. So she called the cops last evening and gave a description of him and the car -- the same guy. Ugh.
 
The police can't do much at this point, so it is pretty unsettling. Anyway, please pray for safety for our neighborhood."
 
So please continue to pray for Gina's health and also add this concern to your prayer lists.  Maybe it's time for an imprecatory prayer!
