From Doug Moo's commemtary on Romans - page 757-758 re: Rom. 12.2
"Paul has made it clear earlier in the letter that the Christian no
longer is to look to the OT law as a complete and authoitative guide
for conduct. What, Paul's first readers and we ourselves today might
ask, is to be put in its place? Ppaul answers: the renewed mind of the
believer. Paul's confidence in the mind of the Christian is the result
of his understanding of the work of the Spirit, who is actively
working to effect the renewal in thinking Paul here assumes... The law
of Christ...has its heart in Jesus' own teaching about the will of
God, expanded and explicated by his appointed representatives, the
apostles."

"Oh, my brothers and sisters in Christ, if sinners will be damned, at
least let them leap to hell over our bodies; and if they will perish,
let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to
stay, and not madly to destroy themselves. If hell must be filled, at
least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one
go there unwarned and unprayed for." -C.H. Spurgeon
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the
glory forever. Amen. Rom. 11:36 (ESV)
