Chad: The biggest issue for me is this (and why I would even attend the "celebration" of an infant baptism)... I have such a high view of "community" and church, mere church attendance is not participation in ekklesia, IMHO. If I have those kinds of doctrinal hangups with those with whom I have covenanted together in community and worship to the point where I won't fellowship with them, I need to find another community. Withholding fellowship over an "error" is *tantamount* to the very same practice involved in excommunication... the end result is the same: withholding of fellowship.
