[Chris] As I said, the "age of accountability" I am referring to has nothing
to do with salvation but only as a qualifier for receiving the ordinances,
which are not salvific. If you are a historic Baptist, you believe a child
must be at an age when a credible profession can be made before baptism or
admittance to the Lord's Table. That is all I meant.

[Chris] Are you saying a child dying at any age before reaching manhood or
womanhood is certainly NOT of the elect??? If so, I truly pity you and those
to whom you seek to comfort in hospital rooms, funeral parlors and
cemetaries. The union of Christ and a dying elect child is no less perfect
than the union of Christ and a 100-year-old elect saint.
