I guess it would depend on how we define "special
revelation" would it not? I pray regarding two job
offers and ask the Lord to guide me in my selection.
Would that not be private special revelation that was
not already revealed in Scripture?

On the other hand a soccer team from Austin College of
the Bible prays before they leave to play Oral
Robert's soccer team for the Lord to be with them as
they travel, since Scripture tells us the He will
never leave us or forsake us, the answer to their
prayer has already been revealed in Scripture.
