Now, you want to use the excuse that it's talking about other gods? Then what do you do with the verse I ask you to read below, that should make it clear.
"Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the GODHEAD  is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, GRAVEN BY ART AND MAN"S DEVICE."  Acts 17:29
Now, how are you going to tell me it's still okay to have images of God?  :)
