But Romanists and other idolatrous cults do!  They have worn out the toe on 
the statue of Peter in that same Sistine Chapel by kissing it, and continually 
bow to statues supposedly representing Mary and other supposed "saintly" 
dispensers of the treasury of merit.  If they will pray to departed humans and 
statues, is it a stretch to imagine them worshipping the vague representations of 
deity you have enumerated?
