You are not allowed to HAVE an image of God because "God didn't come to you in an image on mount Horeb" You are trying to justify images of God, something, whether you agree or not IS FORBIDDEN by the 2nd commandent by using extra biblical sources.
Why do you feel free to break the 9th commandment (in saying that you believe your confessions but really don't) in order to justify fusing the first and second together?
Red flags everywhere!!
If you're satisfied with your images Chad, so be it, but I dare not go down that road.
