I wonder about those guys who built idols in the OT. I wonder if they
did not think that they were not doing anything wrong really. It was all
just a method of assisting in worship and they were just being helpful.

I guess the prophets could see the slippery slope effect of that though
and realised that it would not be long before there would be other
compromises.

Perhaps that does say something about our methods of evangelism today!
