Ouch! What does raising a child in the admonition of the Lord mean though brother? Sureu no one doubts one's committment to such a godly stance if one was to have child dedicated in the presence of the local body of believers. Should one question one's "fleshly tendancies" if one dedicated himslef along with his wife to bring up his child in the instruction of the Lord? Should I be thinking that I am less of a father for giving in to the "troublesome tradition" of asking the local congregation to pray for us and that we will committ to them in a sense of accountability with respect to bringing up our childrern in accord with thje will of God? Hardly what I imagine you were tryingt o communicate was it?
