I had a nice chat with Tom Wells today at a pastor's luncheon. He said
Jerry Bridges was the best he's heard him. Tom said Bridges' view of grace
has been far-reaching in its influence. I would agree.

will remember meeting me! That will help!

glory are too limited. The love of the brethren was very evident, and the
fellowship was very warm and hearty. Many first-time Bunyaneers who reveled
in it with us!

moving, tremendous, wonderful, pages and pages of notes...many times when I
couldn't even think of writing, and many others when I couldn't see the page
through the tears! Does that tell you anything?

and has us hitting the books again to check out some of what he presented.
I will sit at his feet any time!

I look forward to his forthcoming work on this subject, and will be running
down some of his other journal articles (some were available at the
Conference). I also look forward to hearing him again.

very thankful for the effort to get him there on the part of John Reisinger.
He really fit in, and ministered to us like only a man of his caliber and
experience can. Well worth hearing!

could not make it. This brother can preach! He always has us on the edge
of our seats!

heard everything on the Parable of Luke 15 he pulls the rug out from under
you!

let us down. It is no wonder that his ministry has blossomed over the years
like it has. He presents a fine balance of scholarship and passionate
preaching.

have attended for over 10 years, was a great mix of careful exegesis,
stimulating insights from the Word, solid doctrine, warm and hearty
preaching, probing application, and soul stirring devotion.

so good, and...There was a Carson work I did not have that was highly
recommended, and Barry Horner had some new stuff out, and there was a Dabney
work I was not aware of that some young preacher boys I know could use, and
my grandchildren would profit from some things I saw on the table, and my
wife wanted this and that, and....I am sure Dean was pleased by the
turnover!
