My initial thoughts!
New Covenant Theology-Wells and Zaspel

Comments….page 9- ‘The people of God is…’ Do we not all agree that the people of God are all the elect of all ages whom God chooses to save by grace and adopt as children into His Kingdom and they consist Jew and Gentile from creation to today.
Hence there is ONE people of God though they issue from the ages pre-OT, OT and NT. Is it not true to say that the basis of God’s covenant with men is this saying’ I will be your God and you will be my people’.-this was true in all of time and issued in a covenant of friendship and love between God and His chosen (in Christ) of all ages.
I do believe there is only one covenant for these reasons:
1)	There is only ONE mediator and Saviour
2)	The covenant saves men eternally (anything less is not worth having)
3)	The way God deals with men has been and always will be by grace.
4)	God by grace gives men faith which justifies them eternally-the Bible in both testaments is replete with men and women of faith (the fruit of salvation)
5)	The OT saved no-one in and of itself
6)	Men and women were brought into relationship with God before the OT
      eg Enoch, Noah and Abraham.
6) Moses and others under the OT clearly had a relationship with God and in Hebrews Moses relationship included reference to Christ.

I am not denying that the Bible divides into two major dispensations and two peoples of God and that NCT and the NT make these distinctions clear but underlying that discontinuity I am convinced there is a continuity as displayed above so that there is truth in both Reformed Covenant Theology and NCT.
