Can I ask for pray for my mother-in-law who earlier this week after a short
spell in hospital has been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas and liver?
The cancer is in an advanced stage and there is nothing that can be done for
her other than drugs to help her cope with the pain. My mother-in-law is a
believer and has been so for over 60 years she is 85, however her short term
memory has also deteriorated quite significantly this past year and this has
left her confused about everthing. The consultant at the hospital would not
commit himself as to how long she has to live, we think it is possibly only
weeks, so I would ask for prayer that she might know the Lord's peace at all
times and might not suffer unduly.
