Applying this to Piper's situation in Eph 6:24, believing the grace was conditioned 'presumes' that the condition IS the work of the recipient. Is becoming one who 'love's our Lord Jesus Christ with a love incorruptible' an act we accomplish of our own doing? Or is it a description of who God has made His elect to be? But he is not gracious because he placed a condition on the gift.
