One can make the claim, but the devil is in the details. :-)  Could one take 
exceptions to the strict RPW, sabbatarian view and the decloguian third use 
of the law and still have an LBCF of integrity?  I have some friends in 
ARBCA who wince at such a suggestion.

Personally, I favor affirming the confession w/ the exceptions precisely 
because it places us within the historical paradigm from whence we came.  I 
see much danger in maverick theology that seeks to distance/disconnect 
itself from the historical framework, even as it disagrees at points with 
the historical fathers.
