Today I've shared in the grief of a close friend in a baptist congregation
that is in shock after finding out this morning that one of the long-time
keaders/pillars of their church is leaving w/ his family to be baptized into
the Catholic church. No one would have guessed.

I've also shared in the grief of close friends who brought an adoptive
newborn home yesterday only to have the birth mother exercise her "remorse"
clause an hour later.

The finer points of Romans 7 kind of pale in comparison right now.
