NCT is under attack on yahoo.groups in the Reformation Coffeeshop. Do you think they have a good understanding of NCT? Join in and lets set them straight! I have already been called such names as a heretic and a dispensationalist because I hold to NCT! Here is what they are saying

NCT is just warmed-over and updated Dispensationalism.
Classical Darby-Scofield Dispensationalism is passé.
So NCT was invented to carry it on under a different name !
First, New Covenant Theology (NCT) isn't Covenant Theology !
Merely replacing the word "dispensation" with the word
"covenant" doesn't make NCT real Covenant Theology
anymore than replacing the "Chevrolet" emblem on your
car with a "BMW" emblem makes your Chevy a BMW.
New Covenant Theology ought to be called "New Dispensationalism" !
Like Dispensationalism, NCT still dichotomizes the Bible
and redemptive history...
Perceives the Old Covenant as established with the
ancient Nation of Israel only.
Estranges the OT Law from the New Covenant of Grace.
Confuses the "New Covenant" definitionally with the "New Testament'.
Denies the Christianity of the OT saints.
Puts "all Christians" under the authority of the NT-only.
Denies the continuation of the OT moral law.
Denies that a "Covenant of Works" and a "Covenant of
Grace" can be found in Scripture.
Denies Christ's Church in the OT.
All of which can be said regarding Dispensationalism !
Especially if you simply replace the word "covenant" in NCT
with "dispensation" in Dispensationalism.
NCT being the same old Dispie errors in new robes !
