It would be a good idea.....MY understanding is that Jesus is  our New and 
Better Covenant.
simplistic, but it works for me - kinda like the old lady  whose son gave her 
an expensive set of Bible commentaries - she said the Bible  made those books 
so plain!   sure, I read some of the other things,  and love to get with 
learned folk to "pick their brains" and learn from them -  but my Bible is the 
best text, and the Holy Spirit is my most reliable  teacher.
