Dear Brother Jack,

For some reason I'll never know, I figured
you were a "seasoned citizen", maybe not as
in JGR, but certainly not deployment age.  
Guess it's the beyond-your-age wisdom gleaned 
from the precious Word of God.

I live in Clarksville, Tennessee, of which 
Ft. Campbell, KY is sort of a suburb, so 
have had many friends and customers in the 
Army.  It gives you quite a different 
perspective, being close with these folks 
and their families.

I've always appreciated you as a brother
and SOG commentator, and hope you'll dip
in when you can.  But I want you to know
how much we appreciate you too for your
upcoming duty.  We will certainly be 
praying for you and your family, and 
look forward to your return to regular
"duty" on the group chat here.  Thank you
for your service.
