I don't think the above statement from SGM should be construed as the equivalent of Pentecostal/Charismatic theology. After all, P/C is predominantly Arminian, Finneyan, and Keswickian... some even say Pelagian. The larger issue for SGM is cessationism. I'm a cessationist, but I'm not about to draw a line in the sand with Piper over the issue. Our worship services on Sunday draw heavily on the PDI/SGM music, easily the best of the praise & worship genre.
