About twenty years ago I visited and preached in Egypt. On one Sunday we
went way back into the boon docks to a little village. The church had a six
foot high fense that went right down the center of the church. The pulpit
was placed squarely in the middle so I could see the men on my left and the
women on my right. During the service a peddlar came by selling fruit and
vegetables and the women proceeded to go out and buy some. When they came
back in they showed each what they purchased and I kept on preaching, Don't
ask me what I am trying to prove, I just thought it was a good story.   JGR
