Dear Sounders,
Every now and then the moderators have to reign things in when one or more subscribers exhibits a mean spirited attitude towards another subscriber. In the past we have not tolerated such behavior even from our friends or from those we may have agreed. There was one time when I had to remove a man with whom I agreed because the words to his opponent were so devoid of charity.
As I have recently remarked I do not appreciate this idea of engaging in debate on our forum such as ours. I would much rather see a gentle and instructive discussion with Bible opened and hearts seeking Christ rather debating points. We have done so in the past and I can see no reason why we cannot do so once again. We may not always agree as to what God's Word teaches on every point of theology but at the very least we should and must agree that we are not here to do evil. We should be here to edify each other in Christ our Lord.
I do apologize to the list for not having stepped in earlier but could not do so while away at the Bunyan. We returned this last Sunday (yesterday) and have only just now caught up on our Internet chores.
The following is taken from our list FAQ. Please read it!

Any subscriber who intentionally portrays themselves to be intellectually or spiritually superior in contrast to another subscriber will be banned from this list. Pride and arrogance will find no lasting home on this list.
Subscribers must properly identify themselves when posting to the list.

The Bottom Line: The moderators retain the right to govern this list as they see fit to maintain an orderly and well behaved service.
