If one would look around at the various climates in biblical Christianity and compare it to a football challenge, we might say in sports lingo that it is looking 3rd down and long.  There may be a 4th down punt coming but no matter what eschatalogical view that a Christian possesses, the result will be the same with the Lord Almighty coming up with the punt return all the way to the new heavens and the new earth!  For the amils', neo-legalism will always be a threat "wait till we get more men on the field".  For the dispys', arminianism will always be a threat "delay the game for the sake of those who haven't heard".  Christ's game plan resembles a quarterback sneak taking Truth straight up the middle at Calvary.  Team effort is such an over-looked idea these days.  Who is the head Coach?  Who do we look to for Inspiration?  Who is Truth?  Who?  Is it any other than Jesus Christ?  As I explained to a very nice and dear lady at a Lowes store the other day, "I don't want to hear about Benny Hinn, tell me about the Jesus Christ of the Scriptures".  Anything less is just so procrastinating.  Sorry if I appear so demanding, I long for true fellowship in the Word with other serious believers.   In Christ already, Doug Skiles.
