JGR: I say "here, here; amen, amen" to Moe's following quote. When Chad, or anyone else, refuses to post an e-mail of the Sunday Sabbath, I will change my mind about them. That Chad says some things "hard to be understood," as did Paul, I will agree. That he says some things that I cannot reconcile with my version of NCT, I also agree. I must add that Chad has forced me to think through real issues as much, or more, than anyone on our list. Until we can develope an agreed upon list of essential NCT presuppositions, I think it is foolish and fruitless to be putting people in or taking people out of NCT because they do not agree with our version on NCT. If there is one thing we desperately need at this point it is honest, ruthless criticism from people who are friends. > From Moe: Brethren, > > If I were to sit in judgement, and for now I am not, I would have to say that up to this point Chad sounds as much NCT as many of you out there. As a group we are all over the map. > > What I do find disturbing is how we have become contentious over issues that do not really get to the heart of this thing we all assume is NCT or even the NC itself. If we break the law of Christ (to love one another) over issues such as church discipline then who are we to sit in judgement over others? > > Moe
