Chris, I can 'identify' with your friend....I am a Sovereignist - and attend
a Pentecostal Church of God (national headquarters are in Joplin, Mo).
His position and responsibilities are different than mine - as pastor, he
must care for the flock.
As a teacher, and church secretary, I carry responsibility, but not the
"load" - and don't have the family responsibilities as strongly as the
husband/father. I have been extended much grace both by God and the church - no
restrictions on how I teach the young people other than "stick with the Bible, and
we'll be fine".
If he wishes a "sounding board", tell him to contact me. I can be a pretty
good listener, and sometimes have ideas for input. My husband thinks I can
be a good 'helper'. smile
