Dear Praying Saints,
 
It's been awhile since I've written concerning Gina because all the symptoms of her disease have basically stayed the same. 
 
However, as I mentioned in the last e-mail, she is still trying to fight off the infection that has settled in her bones.  To avoid surgery, they've been trying to treat it with antibiotics, but it has not been effective.  So they met with a surgeon last week, but he said she could not have surgery because she has lost so much weight.  Therefore, Gina will be having another procedure done tomorrow (Friday) to try and treat the infection.  Please pray that this will be successful.
 
Until this infection is eradicated, Gina cannot have any treatment addressing the Lyme.  The antibiotics counteract the lyme medication.  So please pray that the procedure will successfully treat the infection.
 
Also, of all the accompanying symptoms of the disease there are two that cause the most discomfort.  One is the severe nausea which keeps her from being able to eat to gain the strength to fight off the disease, and the other is the severe headache pain which makes life unbearable.  If only one of these could be alleviated, she would have a much better existence. 
 
So please pray earnestly for Gina.
 
Also pray that the Lord will provide for their expenses in treating her.  I don't like to make mention of this, but some of you have written and asked.  If you would like to help you may send your contributions as before.  Make your checks out to our church, Word of Life Baptist Church, and we will be sure that they are deposited into Fred's account.
