Amen! brother.
And it's just as robbing when someone preaches NP garbage like a local
reformed pastor did recently, saying: "You ARE a Christian *because* you
are baptized!"
Why are we humans so easily distracted with speculating about the 'how'
instead of focusing on the 'who' it all points to?

I agree with you about the artificial delay that churches introduce
regarding baptism. Some fellowships in the UK whilst stating they practise
"believer baptism" will not baptise any young person under a certain age.
The delay in baptising a person who has made a profession of faith, in my
opinion robs baptism of its symbolism.

I agree with Steve. I believe the delay is an artificial "intrusion" we've
introduced into the entire regeneration/repentance salvation event in the
life of the believer.
