Wouldn't it depend upon whether there were, available to them, communities
of believers who assemble for the word, prayer, worship, communion?
Even if there isn't an assembly completely in line with their theological
bent, as long as it's not apostate, then Heb 10:24-25 has something
important to say about it, does it not?
A husband and wife are 1 unit, routinely together.
There's no 'assembling' involved in the sense Heb implies, even if they have
kids.
So, unless they are alone in a remote Alaskan outpost, or wrecked on a
deserted island (in which case I'd have to ask how you joined them)....they
are probably neglecting the assembly if this is a regular practice.

I attended a church service today that has a regular practice each week of a
husband and wife team reading the Scripture and praying. The wife read the
Scripture and the husband led in prayer.
1. Does such a practice violate any Biblical principles?
2. Has anyone ever seen this practiced?
