Is the issue here whether or not women are commanded to be silent in church? If they are and we hold to that view, would that not eliminate women from singing in church? And of course then those who have women in their church choir would be in violation.

I attended a church service today that has a regular practice each week of a husband and wife team reading the Scripture and praying. The wife read the Scripture and the husband led in prayer.
1. Does such a practice violate any Biblical principles?
2. Has anyone ever seen this practiced?
