The difference is of course obvious. IMHO (At least to me.)
  A woman reading from Scripture is reading the Word of God
  and it is void of personal opinion, personal interpetation, personal
  commentary, and personal application coming from the person 
  who is doing the reading while teaching adds those elements to
  the reading of the text.
