The problem is that we just can't stick our heads in the sand because we are seeing those who still propagate these errors if not here, on other lists (or a revival there of). Maybe not all dispensationalist come from the same box but the vocal ones sure seem to! We bring up the topics to discuss them. No smokescreens or side tracks, just an attempt to cover ground now while we are on topic rather than back track later.

I also understand that dispensationalists are a lot like ice cream. They come in different flavors and there are many with nuts in them.

I really do not know anyone who holds such a view. I know there were those who did, but that error has gotten so much "bad press" that Bible students today should know better. Perhaps there are a few such extremists around, but they seem to be keeping a low profile. I believe, and I can document it, that Lewis Sperry Chafer taught something very much like this, despite the denials of his defenders. And, understand, they do not defend him by defending this teaching, but by denying both the teaching and the fact that he taught it.

I wish you and many others would do those of us who are dispensational a favor or two:

1. Stop dredging up the extreme errors of dispensationalists in the past, and painting us all with that brush, and
2. Stop trying to press all dispensationalists into the same box. Do not assume that we are all agreed on the things that you are fond of criticizing about them.
