This man is named Noah. He is building a great boat called the ark. God told him to build it. Noah is a good man. He loves God and minds what God says to him. But all the rest of the people are wicked. They do not mind God and he is angry with them. He is going to send a great rain on the earth. The ground will be covered with deep water and all the people will be drowned.<br>But Noah will not be drowned. He will go into the ark. For it will be ready before the rain comes. It will take Noah a great many years to build the ark, but God will not send the rain until it is finished. Then Noah will take his sons and his daughters into the ark, and a great many birds and animals will go in with them. (19/399)
